Fortnite and Angry Birds collab is (pretty much) confirmed

It's finally happening chat: a collaboration between Fortnite and Angry Birds has been pretty much confirmed, just in time for the upcoming release of the Angry Birds Movie 3. There isn't a full reveal announcement available yet, but what the official Fortnite account posted on X/Twitter is close enough.

Earlier today, The Angry Birds Movie 3 X/Twitter account posted a teaser video, saying that a new trailer for the movie is dropping tomorrow. In this teaser, at around the 5 second mark, there's a scene at a stadium shown for a brief moment. In that scene, behind Bomb, we can see the text "Porknite" on the advertisement board.

Keep an eye on the clock and your flock. The brand new #AngryBirdsMovie3 trailer launches tomorrow.

Now by itself, this could've just been a pun and nothing more - but that's not the case here. When HYPEX pointed this out, claiming that the text text "Forknite" was spotted in the teaser, the official Fortnite account replied and corrected the spelling. Full exchange below.

ANGRY BIRDS x FORTNITE POTENTIAL TEASER "Forknite" was spotted by @pox1016 on the latest Angry Birds Movie 3 teaser, and it uses the exact same Fortnite (Burbank) font

psst... it actually says "Porknite" 🐷

And to top it all off, the director of The Angry Birds Movie 3, John Cohen, just outright said "FORTNITE x ANGRY BIRDS 3".

At the moment, there is no information about what this collab will actually bring to the game, or when it'll start; all we know that is it's coming.
