Mighty Doom is playable once again thanks to a Fan Project

And naturally it's better than the original was

ALPHA DOG GAMES

Mighty DOOM was a mobile Archero-style roguelike spinoff of the DOOM franchise, released globally on March 21, 2023. It didn't last very long, shutting down a bit over a year later on August 7, 2024 - three months after the developer Alpha Dog Games was closed.

But as we know, no shutdown lasts forever these days. The project that's bringing the game back is called Mighty Resurrection, and it's an independent community server. It also brings a plethora of improvements that get rid of pay-to-win mechanics, among other things. Full breakdown in the image below.

Mighty Doom Revival vs original game differences

AI usage was minimal during development - answer from the FAQ to "Was AI involved in creating this revival?":

Barely. The project started without AI in 2025. AI later helped speed up development of new features such as VEGA mining and the Battle Pass.

At the moment this revival is exclusive to Android, because an IPA of Mighty DOOM version 1.13.1 was not found as of writing.

If you want to try this Mighty DOOM revival for yourself, just download the APK from the website, install it and play. Very simple stuff.
